There's been a HUGE influx of submissions that don't meet the content guidelines and pieces being submitted to the incorrect folders.

I cannot stress this enough, please look before you submit. I will be cracking down on submissions that do not follow the rules because I feel like a broken record having to repeat the same message to violators over and over again.

If your piece gets declined, chances are that a rule was disregarded. I will do my best to leave a message if yours gets declined, but check the guidelines if you have any questions (and leave a note to the group if you have anything additionally you'd like to add, do NOT message me personally please).

Thanks for hearing me out :)

I haven't been as active as I'd like here on dA, and with that the submissions keep piling up. I do apologize for the hold up on accepting them but what's making it hard for me though is to make sure everything is being submitted to the right place as I really do not have the time to move deviations around anymore.

If your piece gets declined, more than likely it was submitted to the wrong folder. Please take the time to make sure your submission is in the correct place.

If a piece isn't based directly from the source material, put it in the Alternate Universe folder. If it's a Star Trek piece, put it in Former Underdogs. I see a lot of people are trying to submit work for even the Universal Monsters and King Kong as well as comic characters like Superman and Wonder Woman. These are not considered underdogs under the guidelines I put up for the group (unless for example say you draw Frankenstein outside of the Karloff image), this is why Star Wars pieces aren't accepted, because they are too widely known. Again, the focus of the group is to look at work for stories and shows that aren't so globally uber popular.

Thanks to everyone who continues to support the group with your presence, I hope I wasn't too much of a nag!

Just a friendly reminder to please pay attention to the folders you submit work to. I've been kinda backlogged on trying to keep this group intact since I lost my internet connection, so as I only have a few hours every week to make sure submissions get through (outside of having to pay my bills and moderating other groups) I can't continue to keep tabs on work going into the wrong folders.

The biggest issue is with submissions containing crossovers and images going into the Gerry Anderson folder (that have nothing to do with his shows) etc. Please make sure they go to the right place.

Thanks everyone!

Hey guys!

I figured I should go ahead and do away with one of the guidelines that's been pretty hard to enforce for awhile (about the non-canon stuff). I went ahead and opened up a new folder called Crossovers & Alternate Universes for anyone wanting to submit work under that criteria.

As for the rules on that, nothing pornographic please, just keep it clean.

And a hearty thanks everyone for making this such an awesome group, I'm always gobsmacked with the amount of quality work that's being submitted!

Stay Frosty!
